Do you have your nappies on the washing line?

Do you use disposable nappies? Well, if you do then I’m sorry to say that you’re killing the planet. Not only that, but you’re killing your bank account too. I bet you didn’t know you could buy cloth nappies that can easily be washed out. Using these as an alternative to disposable nappies not only means you will save money from re-using them, but they’re also a lot friendlier to the environment.

Disposable nappies will take between 200 and 500 years to decompose, and they often get picked up by all sorts of wildlife who think that nappies are food. Spoilers, they’re not (please don’t try and eat nappies). They can be very harmful and dangerous to wildlife and can even cause death.  Think of the cute, poor rabbits, deer and fish. I’m not trying to scare you into using cloth nappies and re-using them or anything, but they are much better for the environment and they will actually save you a lot of money.

All you’ll need is a washing line and nappy liners to dispose of the baby gunk, and then you’ll be rolling in it (the money you’ll save!). Simply wash the nappy and then once it’s clean, hang it on the line and then re-use it. Simple.

So, are you going to make the switch? Let us know down below in the comments section, or through our social media.
